Week St Mary village, Cornwall
Week St. Mary is an ancient village mentioned in the Domesday Book. The village set amongst the hills about three miles from the North Cornish coast near Crackington Haven, is largely involved with farming and agriculture.
Week St. Mary lies at a height of about 600 feet above sea level and although declining in importance since the loss of the nearby railway in the cuts by Dr. Beeching in 1963, still has a population of about 500 people.
