St Merryn village, Cornwall
St Merryn village lies roughly four miles south of Padstow and about eleven miles northeast of Newquay. The village lies on a busy crossroads and is overlooked by many. The nearby church is a mixture of Norman and 15th century architecture. A road sign states that St. Merryn has "Seven bays for seven days", indicating the proximity to the village of the bays and beaches of Trevone, Harlyn Bay, Mother Ivey's Bay, Booby's Bay, Constantine Bay, Treyarnon and Porthcothan.
