St Ive village, Cornwall
St Ive is a small village in East Cornwall near to St. Mellion. The nearest settlements of any size would be Liskeard, 4 miles to the southwest or Callington just over 4 miles to the northeast.
Pronounced 'Eve', it should not be confused with St Ives in West Cornwall. The village itself is is split into three parts: St Ive Keason, St Ive Parkfield and St Ive Church End and gained its name from St Ive, one of 24 children fathered by the 4th century King Broccan of Brecon, Wales.
