Sladesbridge village, Cornwall
Sladesbridge is a small village just to the southeast of Wadebridge, alongside the A389 Bodmin road. It lies at the confluence of the River Allen with the Croan Stream about 1 km upstream of the confluence with the River Camel. Nearby Slade's House Country Inn and Trelawney Garden Leisure are worth a visit. Situated as it is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and also a SSSI (Site of Special Scientific Interest) the area is well worth visiting. All manner of river wildlife frequent the river with Otters, salmon and kingfishers, often seen. In short this is an excellent location to relax and truly enjoy some peace and quiet.
