Ruan Lanihorne village, Cornwall
Ruan Lanihorne village lies on the Roseland Peninsula about three miles northwest of Veryan in Mid West Cornwall.
This rather small village was recorded in the Domesday Book of 1086 and is situated at the head of a creek of the River Fal, now silted up causing it to fall almost into obscurity. Its very seclusion also makes the village a good place to 'get away from it all'.
