Rock village, Cornwall
The village of Rock lies just across the estuary of the River Camel at Padstow in North Cornwall.
Recent visits by the younger members of the British Royal Family and their entourage has caused Rock to be termed 'Chelsea-on-Sea'. The area is said to have more than its fair share of millionaire as residents. That said, Rock does have an excellent beach at Daymer Bay and the grave of poet John Betjeman lies nearby at St. Enodoc Church.
