Porthoustock village, Cornwall
Porthoustock, known locally as Pro'Stock, is a coastal village on the east coast of the Lizard Peninsula in West Cornwall.
It lies about a mile from St. Keverne and just over three miles northeast of Coverack. Its main industry was fishing. The beach consists of coarse shingle and offers a good base from which to explore the many coves and beaches of the Lizard and the whole of West Cornwall.
The whole area offers something for everyone, with ancient standing stones, coastal walks and beaches to the tourist atractions at FutureWorld on Goonhilly Downs and the Flambards Experience near Helston.
