Nancledra village, Cornwall

The village of Nancledra lies on the moors roughly midway between St. Ives and Penzance in the far west of Cornwall. It lies in the parish of Towednack.

Points of interest nearby are the remains of the engine house of Giew Mine at nearby Cripplesease and the granite Quarry at Castle-an-Dinas. There are excellent walks all around this area, many with ancient remains, especially to the north and west to Zennor, Chysauster and Boskednan.
