Mount Hawke village, Cornwall
Mount Hawke lies two miles east of Porthtowan and three miles west of Blackwater in Mid-West Cornwall.
An old copper mining village, Mount Hawke is quiet and friendly. Amenities include a Post Office, a florists and two general stores. The Old School Pub is worth a visit.
There are also two churches, the Parish Church of St John the Baptist and a Methodist Church. In addition it has a good Primary School and contains the largest indoor skatepark in Cornwall. Mount Hawke also has a park called the Millennium Green.
Mount Hawke is known locally as the "Golden Triangle", which consists of Mount Hawke, St. Agnes and Porthtowan, and has stunning views across to St Agnes Beacon and the sea.
