Carnkie, Wendron village, Cornwall
Carnkie is a village situated approximately three and a half miles west of Penryn and approximately five miles north east of Helston.
The village consists of a Village Hall and a garage, and until 2010 a chapel. The old chapel at Carnkie was built in the year 1900 as a Bible Christian Chapel and was closed in 2010. The last service was held on 22nd August.
It is pronounced Carn Ky (rhymes with sky) and should not be confused with the village of the same name near Redruth.
