Bowithick village, Cornwall

Bowithick village lies 13 miles west of Launceston and 6 miles east of Camelford. This small hamlet lies on the northern fringe of Bodmin Moor near Penpont Water.

Nearby points of interest include Buttern Hill at Grid Reference SX175816, a good viewpoint topped by a Bronze Age burial chamber and also Bray Down (SX189822) with the mine workings of the former uranium mine, Wheal Bray.
