Lostwithiel Town in Cornwall

Location
Lostwithiel (Cornish: Lostwydhyel) is a civil parish and small town in Mid Cornwall at the head of the estuary of the River Fowey. According to the 2001 census it had a population of 2,739 and is Cornwall’s hidden treasure. It lies roughly 6 miles east of the Eden Project and 5 miles north of Fowey. Nearby lies the 12th century Restormel Castle.
