Bodmin Town in Cornwall
The town of Bodmin is situated in a quite central position in Cornwall and is one of the oldest towns in the county. This former county town has a population of almost 13,000 and was known as Petrockstow from the 6th century. Bodmin is recorded in the Domesday Book of 1086 as a market town and is twinned with Grass Valley in California.
