St Nectan

ADVENTURE JOURNEY TO THE DEPTH OF SELF RENEWAL & WONDER. RE-CONNECT, RE-CALIBRATE, RENEW by working through BodyMind with Water & Fire, Movement & Stillness.

This is a rare opportunity to spend three days and three nights at the beautiful secluded oasis of the legendary St. Nectan's Glen; a special place of healing and contemplation amidst the pure raw Nature of North Cornwall.
St. Nectan's Glen is considered one of the most beautiful natural power places in Cornwall, a place of healing, wonder and energy.

Supported and surrounded by the clean raw elemental energies of this unique place, near the powerful time of the midsummer full moon, you will have an opportunity to spend time in a small group of fellow supportive seekers and explorers, away from the everyday hustle and bustle of life, mundane regiments and routines, stressful and distractive environments and demands. You will be able to fully concentrate on your inner work, going deep within your Self, exploring and working with the themes of generating and managing change, stillness and motion, flow and stagnation, limitations and freedom, disconnection and connectedness.

Giving yourself permission to laugh, play and explore without the heavy restrictiveness of the conditioned and conditioning layers of everyday life, we will work in a light-hearted fun way, bringing joy, playfulness and adventure into the powerful process, and re-discovering and re-connecting to a childlike wonder and adventure.

You will explore and experience a variety of methods and approaches from different systems and practices. These will range from Eastern, Western and Native Practices to contemporary and scientific systems, including Taoist Sciences, Buddhist wisdom, Shamanic techniques; ceremonial, ritual and archetypal work; Psychology, NLP, Coaching, Psychosomatic & Embodiment techniques; Martial Arts, Qi-Gong, meditation, visioning, and a variety of other healing modalities.

Our activities will be accompanied by the chorus of birds, whispering of trees and the song of the river Trevillet running from the hills through green ancient wooded valley on its journey towards the nearby Atlantic Ocean. We will have access to the stunning sixty foot waterfall flowing powerfully through the rocks nearby, as well as having the opportunity to sit by a bonfire under a vast night's sky, watching ancient fire and connecting to our deep roots by the light of the stars and the waxing moon.

This is an opportunity to open our minds and hearts to the wonder of the present moment, reconnecting through the body and introducing spaciousness aliveness and flow to our life.

As my Taoist teacher Li Shifu says, 'If you have a Destiny with a certain place, each other and certain kind of inner work then you'll be drawn to it, it will speak to you'.
