LEGEND OF A BAND: A tribute to the MOODY BLUES

Legend Of A Band

Enjoy the music of the Moody Blues in the company of a supergroup of legendary musicians, singers and songwriters...

The music of the Moody Blues with Gordy Marshall, who has performed with them for 25 years, plus a band drawn from: current 10cc lead singer Mick Wilson, Tim Maple, Malcolm Moore, Lindsay Goodhand, Patrick Smyth, Patrick Duffin. Impeccable performances of Nights in White Satin, Go Now, Tuesday Afternoon, Legend of a Mind, I Know You're Out There Somewhere, Question, Forever Autumn and Eve of the War

Drummer Gordy Marshall played with The Moody Blues for over 25 years. He is joined by legendary performers drawn from a pool of equally-talented artists that includes: current 10cc lead singer Mick Wilson, Leona Lewis and Westlife guitarist Tim Maple, James Blunt and Joss Stone bass player Malcolm Moore, flautist/singer/saxophonist/keyboard player Lindsay Goodhand, Strictly Come Dancing vocalist Patrick Smyth and skilled musician and songwriter, including composing the Loose Women theme tune no less, Patrick Duffin.

It is a chance to experience impeccable performances of classic Moody Blues hits including Nights in White Satin, Go Now, Tuesday Afternoon, Legend of a Mind (Timothy Leary's Dead), I Know You're Out There Somewhere, Question, Isn't Life Strange – plus Forever Autumn and a show-stealing rendition of Eve of the War from Jeff Wayne's The War of the Worlds.

The evening is an intriguing insight into the 'Kings of the Concept Album', the Moody Blues. Relive classic, million-selling albums Days of Future Passed, In Search of the Lost Chord, On the Threshold of a Dream, To Our Children's Children and more.

Gordy has played drums for the Moodies on arena shows all over the world, including the Hollywood Bowl, Wembley Arena, The O2 Arena and The Royal Albert Hall, his most recent performance being at the Glastonbury Festival,

Mick's incredible vocals have also featured with likes of Lionel Richie, Kylie Minogue and Smokey Robinson. Tim's credits include Westlife, Boyzone, Leona Lewis, Olly Murs, Emma Bunton, Ronan Keating, Beverly Knight. Malcolm, as well as recording hits with the likes of One Direction and Alison Moyet, is a mainstay of many West End shows including Mama Mia, Rent and The Lion King. He has also toured with Westlife, Lulu and X-Factor Live, and acted as Musical Director for Natalie Imbruglia.

Prepare for an intimate evening of sensational musicianship and iconic songs that define a generation. www.grtentertainments.com
