Launch of the book "Sea, Salt and Solitude"
3rd - 9th November
The launch of the A4 Book "Sea, Salt and Solitude". Black and white portraits and accompanying narrative of the fishermen and community from the ports of; Padstow, Newquay, Port Isaac and Rock. All the images will be on display and entrance is free.
On Saturday the 3rd November, midday, there will be a free grand opening of the exhibition. A display of the portraits from the 172 paged book. A chance to see some of the fishermen, supporters and celebrity chefs from the areas of Padstow, Newquay, Port Isaac and Rock. The Foreword for the book is written by Rick Stein and features many local and celebrity faces. Tales of hardship, tragedy and laughter accompany the stunning portraits. This book about the North Coast of Cornwall is a follow up of the highly successful book "Salt of the Earth".
The book will be for sale from the Social Club and all proceeds go to the charity the Fishermen's Mission.
