Dining Out in Tideford, Cornwall
Rod and Line, Tideford
Just 100yards from the main A38 into Cornwall in the village of Tideford, 6 miles from the Tamar Bridge, you'll find the Rod & Line Inn. The pub is renowned throughout the area for the condition of its beers and the quality of the food - particularly its crab dishes, king prawns, scallops and fillet steaks and for its warm welcome to locals and visitors alike. If you like a theme pub where everything matches and has been designed by some corporate team, then forget the Rod. This is a proper Cornish pub with the ambience of yesteryear but most definitely in the 21st century. Across the road from the pub there is a large children's play area and a large public car park.
Church Road, Tideford.
