Dining Out in Morwenstow, Cornwall
Rectory Tea Rooms, Morwenstow
The Rectory is located opposite the church in the rural parish of Morwenstow, overlooking the rugged coastline of North Cornwall. Built in the 13th Century, the house is filled with history; from antique furnishings to slate flooring, open fires & original Oak Beams salvaged from the many shipwrecks along the coastline. The Award Winning Tea Rooms provide not only cream teas, but a varied menu using locally sourced produce where possible, with nearly all food homemade on premises, specializing in homemade scones, cakes, soups, quiche's, chutneys and delicious soups; along with proper Cornish Pasties, Cheeses, Jams, Fish (caught fresh from local waters) and our own Beef and Lamb as available.
