Lansallos Cove (Cornish: Porth Lannsalwys) is also known as West Combe Beach and it lies midway between Polruan and Polperro on the south coast of Cornwall.
The small beach of sand and some fine shingle faces south west and is best accessed following the shaded path down from the church to the shore. The small waterfall that tumbles down from the coast path behind the beach is known as Reed Water.
Swimming is possible here and is best on an incoming tide. The narrow neck of Lansallos Cove however means seaweed often gets trapped here and makes bathing less pleasurable. No safety equipment exists at Lansallos and there is no lifeguard cover. There are also no toilets here.
Lansallos is a dog friendly beach with dogs allowed all year round.
Accommodation nearby includes a number of caravan and camping sites as well as the more traditional Cornish cottages at Polruan, Fowey, Polperro and Looe.
