Known locally as Tregirls, Harbour Cove lies about a mile northwest of Padstow, on the North coast of Cornwall. Harbour Cove gives the visitor a quieter interlude after the summer crush in the town.
North east facing, Harbour Cove is a large sandy beach on the west of the Camel estuary and directly opposite Trebetherick. The beach is relatively sheltered protected to the north and west by Stepper Point and to the northeast by Pentire Point and is backed by dunes.
The beach is best accessed from the coast path passing St. Saviour's Point and Gun Point en route. Immediately north of Harbour Cove lies Hawker's Cove, where there is a tea garden in the coastguard cottages.
There are no facilities at Harbour Cove with all the usual amenities present in Padstow a 25 minute walk away.
