Bissick Old Mill
Nestled in the heart of Cornwall in the charming village of Ladock near Truro lies Bissick Old Mill, a small, luxury guesthouse. Dating from the 17th century, Bissick Old Mill remained a working corn mill right up to the late 1960's and has since been sympathetically renovated to maintain its character and charm whilst also providing all modern comforts. We offer a relaxing, comfortable stay in a central location ideal for exploring the whole of Cornwall.
Accommodation is offered in the form of three en-suite bedrooms with king-size or super king size beds in the mill itself and a charming upside down suite in the Granary just across the courtyard. Guests can take advantage of the delightful beamed sitting room with its natural cornish stone fireplace and squashy sofas. Relax with a book or magazine or simply sit and unwind after a long days sightseeing before heading off to sample some of the local ales and fare on offer at the nearby inns and restaurants.
Bissick Old Mill Guest House
Centrally located in the heart of Cornwall surrounded by beautiful countryside Bissick Old Mill is an ideal base to explore all that Cornwall has to offer.Five minutes from the A30 fifteen minutes from Truro and St. Austell you are able to reach most parts of Cornwall within the hour. The Mill itself is steeped in history dating back to the 17th century. In the main house there are three en-suite rooms. A king-size double a superking-size double/twin and a family room that has two rooms one for the children one for the adults. For those who prefer more privacy there is the delightful Granary. Dating from the 18th century, Chapel Cottage is a traditional Cornish cottage set in a cottage garden complete with free-roaming chickens. Come-to-Good Farm B&B
Tucked away in a beautiful valley between Truro and Falmouth, the quiet hamlet of Come-to-Good is a peaceful haven and yet it is conveniently situated for just about everywhere.
Our home is a barn that we converted in 1999 and there is a choice of guest accommodation. We have one large double en-suite bedroom in the farmhouse (which also has plenty of space for a cot if required) or we can offer a detached family suite, which sleeps 4 and includes a small living area. Both rooms have tea or coffee making facilities, TV/VCR and a fridge. Using local produce and our own eggs we will cook you a hearty breakfast to set you up for your day. This is served in our family farmhouse kitchen, where you are more than welcome to relax and chat for as long as you like and if you need any information that will help you enjoy your visit, please just ask.

South Penarth House is a truly lovely Grade II listed B&B. The rooms are extremely comfortable and individual with a host of period features in the spacious and light filled accommodation. The house has three ensuite bedrooms for guests and also a two bedroom family suite available for those with children or two friends who would like a bit more space. Guests are welcomed with a complimentary glass of sherry by the open fire in the guest lounge. There is efficient open broadband for lap tops and excellent mobile phone signal. Breakfast is served in the pannelled breakfast room and offers something for everyone: A full English breakfast is cooked fresh to order home made bread homemade jam and marmalade fresh strawberries and organic yoghurts. All our bedrooms have large digital TV s fresh flowers fresh fuit and wonderful tea trays with an array of teas and homemade biscuits. Truro is a 12 minute stroll downhill to the cathedral (you may need to take a £3 cab ride home up our steep hill). Currently the house only accepts cash or cheques NOT credit cards and we apologise for any inconvenience. Guests are welcome to use the garden in the summer months and the large tranquil gardens. The beautiful river walks at St. Clements are a 3 minute drive away. Your hosts offer an informal and friendly service and are happy to offer advice about this beautiful area whether you are here for business or pleasure. The house is very tranquil and quiet despite being so conveniently placed and has lovely gardens where guests can relax on nice evenings. The house is an ideal base for a romantic break and to explore the beautiful County of Cornwall. Truro is host to numerous restaurants and has a lot of bijoux shops to explore. There is also a fine theatre in the centre of town and some fine art galleries. For business purposes the house is conveniently placed for access to Truro Truro Courts Truro Council and also the hospital. The small village of St. Clement s is less than a mile away with its stunning river walks. It is renowned for birds and wildlife and there are numerous country and river walks that emanate directly from the village itself.
