Buttervilla is a boutique B&B situated within fifteen acres of rolling countryside on the Port Eliot Estate near St Germans in an area of exceptional beauty with panoramic views across two valleys. The land is cared for in a sustainable, natural way and guests are rewarded with an abundance of wildlife around the grounds and trails. Buttervilla has no farm animals so they have been able to remove all fences to allow guests to roam freely in the beautiful countryside. They have never used chemical sprays so the environment is clean, pure and influenced by the Atlantic breezes with the south Cornish coast just two miles away. With a wealth of glorious beaches, beautiful woodlands, historic houses, interesting towns and quaint fishing villages on our doorstep Buttervilla is the perfect place to relax and eat well.
Situated in the heart of Cornwall's forgotten corner, Torpoint is the perfect base to explore the whole of Cornwall and South Devon. Cambridge House has recently been refurbished in a sympathetic (to it's original Victorian origins) yet homely way. The accommodation comprises of five bedrooms over 2 floors (no lift). Each bedroom offers a welcome book, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, Flat screen television with freeview, DVD and Ipod dock. In the bathrooms you will find towels, shampoo, soap, body lotion, cotton balls and shower caps.
Devon & Cornwall
The Devon & Cornwall is a 17th century inn in the village of Millbrook Cornwall. It has many traditional features including stone floors and an open fire. The village itself has many shops and services and is a great central point for exploring this beautiful area. The villages of Kingsand and Cawsand are less than 2 miles away and Whitsand Bay is about the same. The area is very popular for weddings especially in nearby Mount Edgcumbe Park and Polhawn Fort. We are also a 15 minute drive from HMS Raleigh convenient for passing out parades and close to the naval base at Devonport. The city of Plymouth is 30 minutes away by car ferry ideal for a days shopping. br / br / br / br / Our 5 ensuite rooms have all been re-carpeted and painted for 2016. Tea and coffee making facilities are available in all rooms as well as flat screen TVs with all freeview channels and for Sport lovers we have Sky Sports & BT Sports on offer in the bar. There is a hairdryer in each room and an iron and ironing board are available on request. Free Wifi is available throughout the building. Our bar area has a range of local real ales lagers wines spirits and soft drinks on offer as well as home cooked meals and bar snacks at lunchtimes and in the evenings. With a range of gluten free and vegetarian meals as well as all the old favourites we have something for everyone including our freshly cooked pizzas daily. The Phantele Bed & Breakfast
The Phantele is a family-owned and operated bed & breakfast in the Stoke area of Plymouth. We pride ourselves on fresh decor throughout the Phantele as well as cleanliness tasty generous breakfasts and a friendly welcoming atmosphere. Our building constructed in 1893 has resulted in accommodation that is modest in size and distributed over three floors accessible by stairs. We have complemented the historic constraints and character through the use of white linens bright paint and fabrics and shabby chic furniture. Natural light floods the halls and our guest bedrooms all of which have their own personality. We display some local artists paintings and photos throughout the property of the surrounding areas of Plymouth and Devon. We are only a few minutes by car 15 minutes by bus and half an hour on foot from the city centre. A short taxi ride from Plymouth Railway Station or Bretonside Bus Station brings you to our doorstep. Devonport Naval Base is in walking distance. HMS Rayleigh is easily accessible via the Torpoint ferry and there is free parking on the adjacent side street to our premises.
